Training Day for U14 & U16 riders

The Irish Cycling MTB Commission Downhill Committee is pleased to announce their first training day for U14 and U16 riders.

In association with First Tracks Coaching and Guiding the venue is due to the Big Wood and it is due to take place on 4th and 5th March 2006.

Any U14 and U16 riders who currently or intend to hold a full Cycling Ireland Licence should apply to Eamonn Lawlor by emailing

Eamon will also be able to provide further information.

The cost of the event is estimated to be in the region of £25 (Sterling) and parental consent is essential.

Riders will benefit from accredited coaching from Glyn O'Brien who will pass on much of his knowledge and expertise gained from a career of top class downhill, freeride and 4X racing.
