Ulster MTB Cross Country Championships 2007

The 5th round of the Ulster League hosted by Dromara CC will be held on Dunmore Mountain near Ballynahinch. This race will also be used to contest the Ulster Championships. This is the second year that Dromara CC have proudly held these prestigious championships.
The senior lap will consist of around 3 mile on open mountain terrain with a good mixture of accents, descents, fast grass and technical features.
The ground holds up extremely well under wet conditions, resembling the first off road section of the Marathon at Carlingford.
The underage race will be held on a grass field around and over several knowes.

On Saturday the course will be open for official practice from 10am, with registration open from 9.30-12.00. The race programme is as follows:
11.30: U-12
11.31: U-10
11.32: U-8
12.00: U-16
12.01: Sports Men/Women
12.02: U-14
13.30: Elite Men
13.31: Elite Women
13.32:Juniors
13.33: Experts
13.34: Masters
13.35: Vets
NOTE!
This is held on private land so unfortunately being a Saturday there will be NO pre riding the course before race day. If this is not adhered to the race will be cancelled. This will put those with further to travel on an even footing.
