Record Numbers at 2007 Winter League

260 riders turned out for the CRC/Epic 2007 Winter League - the biggest number of riders ever seen at a winter league. With the introduction of the Sport category in 2007, this opened up the racing to all abilities - showing some riders they were actually 'better than they though'. Each category got more competitive this year as U14's moved up to U16, U16's moved to Junior, Juniors moved to elite and masters moved to vets! MORE

Winter League Round 3 Race Report

The third round of the winter league took place on Sunday 4th february 2007 with almost 140 riders turning out for the new course at Moneyscalp to see who was the fastest down the hill. With thick fog in the morning - many riders (and spectators) weren't sure what sort of a day was due, however, the sun shone over the Mournes to give a great days craic and a great days racing. MORE

Off Road Commission AGM

Saturday 13th January 2007

The AGM of the Off Road Commission takes place this Saturday, 13th January 2007 in the Foy Centre, Dundalk Street, Carlingford, County Louth, start time is 2pm. The AGM is open to all Cycling Ireland Licence holders, and all attending are asked to bring their 2006 licences for the purpose of signing in. Each Club attending is permitted two voting delegates, I would ask Clubs attending to pick their voting delegates before the meeting. MORE
