It started with me wanting a new set of forks for my Commencal and it ended up a little something like this…
Frame – Intense Socom FRO (small), 150mm drop outs
Shock – Fox DHX 5 (3” stroke)

Spring – Nuke Proof Ti , 350 x 3
Forks – Marzocchi 888 SL ATA (air sprung)

Wheels – DT Swiss EX 5.1 rims, Hope Pro II hubs, DT Swiss double butted spokes
Casette – Shimano Ultegra 9sp 12-27
Chain – SRAM PC 991
Chain guide – e-Thirteen LG1, old ISCG
Cranks – Shimano Saints, 165, 38t chain ring
Pedals – Shimano M647
Brakes – Hope Mono M4’s, braided hoses, saw floating rotors
Rear Mech – Shimano XT M761, short cage

Shifter – SRAM Attack
Bars – Easton EA70 Monkey bars, 1.5” rise
Grips – ODI Lock-on
Stem – Easton Vice
Headset – e-Thirteen 1.5” to 1.1/8” zero stack reducer cups, FSA Orbit IS integrated
Seat post – Thompson Elite
Saddle – SDG, Bel Air titanium rails
A few £’s lighter, but a good few lb’s lighter
Total weight – 37.3 lb’s!!!
