in simple terms yes and yes, there's camping at every race and once you have a bike and full face helmet (for over 18's under need full body armour) away ya go.

you need a cycling licence but day licences are available on the day which costs €20
a full years adult licence is €95 which covers you for all mtb and bmx races

You get a licence from , cyclingireland.ie. races are two day events. Saturday is practice from usually 9 till 5 with a half an hour break in between for the uplifts drivers. On sunday practice is from 9 till 11'30 if I'm not mistaken. Then you do your seeding run which determines when you come down in your race run. Racing usually finishes around 4/5 then we finish off with the podiums and prizes.

you can also just buy a one day race licence at the race.....ask about it at sign on and theyll sort you out. unless your going to be raceing a good bit, this will work out way cheaper!!! the one day licence will cover you for the entire race.
