Last weekend the famous Winter Series made its return after its sad absence in 2011. Originally planned for Moneyscalp Woods which could almost be described as the home of the Winter Series at this stage but due to complications we ended up in Bigwood, just outside of Newry, Co.Down.

Following the success of Round 1 of the Winter Series in Bigwood, CRC are pleased to announce registration for round 2 on Sunday 26th February is now open.

I met Cameron about 4 years ago at my first ever race, he was the guy that used to always smoke me even on his hardtail. He is still at it. Just to note I did once beat him in 2010. Good times ha ha. Anyway still good friends with Cameron despite him being from the arse end of nowhere! I have been down to his house a few times - its more of a go build a downhill track than will ya cut the grass down there?

Chain Reaction Cycles IDMS 2012 launched
CRC are pleased to announce their title sponsorship of iDMS 2012, the new Irish Downhill Mountainbike Series. Following great growth of the discipline over recent years, 2012 is sure to produce some fantastic action and Chain Reaction will be there supporting and reporting to you in these fantastic events.
Promoters David Morgan and Rory O’Keeffe have between them huge experience of race organisation and competition and are aiming to take all the best parts of Irish downhill racing, the camaraderie and superb atmosphere to produce what will surely be a welcome re-vamp for the Championship.

Some of you have been waiting since before the internet existed for this, but Online Registration has now opened for the BMX race at the brand new world-class track in Ratoath!
There are categories for BMX (20 inch wheel) and non-BMX (eg; mountainbikes, cruisers etc), and there will be various age groupings within these categories, you’ll have great fun regardless of what bike you ride!

The guys from Ratoath BMX are running a race on their new track on November 27. They've been getting great numbers down to the track every weekend so they're expecting a great turnout. It sounds like it is going to be a great race for racers and spectators alike.
