For the first time ever, four clubs are combining to hold the 2009 winter league in a number of venues throughout the country.

The usual crew from Chain Reaction Cycling Club, are optimistic to hold a race on Sunday 11th January in the home of the winter league, Moneyscalp Forest, Co Down.

The second winter league will be held on 25th January by IMBRC, new to hosting downhill races in Ballinascorney Forest.

Two weeks later, one of the biggest MTB clubs in the country, hosts of the Epic Blast, EpicMTB will be holding round three in Cloon Wood on Sunday 8th February.

Another two week break until new MTB club, Flow Racing will host the fourth round in Carrick, home of the 2008 NPS on a new course.

All events, as with all winter leagues, will be one day events with no uplift. Full details of the events will be published closer to the time, however, please note that due to restrictions in Forestry etc, dates and venues may be likely to change.
