Myself and the lads were down in Dunmanaway yesterday assessing the tracks for the coming NPS and also testing out the new uplift truck recently purchased by Denis Corkery.

Denis is hoping to provide a reliable uplift service for clubs holding uplift days and races. He also has enlisted the services of an engineering company to manufacture a bike carrying system which will mean the bikes will not touch each other in transit. The truck was well able to carry fifteen of us on-board with another five in tow. The frame will allow for twenty riders and bikes.

Denis is hoping for clubs support throughout the season and if things work out a second truck may be on the cards. The important thing here is that this will help to aleviate the burden on those organising races. Given the expenditure gone to not only in buying the truck but also the carrying system I think he should get every ones full support.
