If so, the Wee Adventure Film Festival invites you to submit a short film (10 minutes or less) for the festival which will be held on 6 th February 2008. The deadline for submissions is 10 th January 2008. Please go to www.waff.ie to submit your film.
The Wee Adventure Film Festival gives adventure sports enthusiasts the opportunity to come together and present their adventures. We hope that your films will capture the essence of adventure sports, the rush, the exhilaration, the outdoors and the fun
John Connolly (Festival Director) says “The inspiration for the Wee Adventure Film Festival came from seeing the Banff Mountain Film Festival over the last two years. I thought it was great. I started to think that it would be good fun to get a few friends to go out and make videos of themselves doing their adventure sports and to show the resulting films at some sort of gathering. When I told people about the idea of the gathering there was a lot of interest. The more people I told the more interest was shown, so I decided, why not have a film festival instead? Thus the Wee Adventure Film Festival was born.”
The Wee Adventure Film Festival, to be held on the 6 th February 2008, in the Sugar Club will run from 8pm to 10pm. The after show party will continue until late with visuals from Belfast ’s Shakinda and DJs TBA.
