New Look Irish
DH NPS
Feb
05 The
2005 Irish NPS could be the best one so far. After last years sketchy season it
was obvious that something had to be done so the Domestic Racing Committee was
set up with the sole aim of looking after grass roots racing in Ireland. No longer
will most of the effort be put into the National Teams, the new committee will
be putting time, experience and effort into insuring we have a solid Irish NPS
to provide the Irish riders with the races they deserve. NPS races in 2005 should
be better organized, with tracks which are fun for every rider from 1st to last
place. As
a result of the 1st committee meeting a 'new look' NPS calendar has been created
with 7 NPS races plus the National Camps. Venues are spread across all 4 provinces
providing a mixture of the old favorites along with some new race tracks. The
majority of the racing is in July and August when the weather is good, instead
of having all the races at the start and end of the year as in previous seasons. For
